The Jaguars have finally reached 53. There wasn't a lot of drama surrounding cut-down day this year, as many roster spots were secure heading into the final day. But there was some uncertainty at RB, LB, WR and DB. Friday's cuts settled some of those decisions.
Notable cuts: QB Jordan Palmer (4th year, UTEP) -- The Jaguars have a history of keeping just two QBs, but Palmer played well enough in the preseason that some thought he would be kept around. ... TE Colin Cloherty (4th year, Brown) -- He's a surprise because of the lack of depth the Jags have at TE. That move leaves the Jaguars with just two healthy TEs on the roster -- Marcedes Lewis and Zach Potter.
