The Jaguars named offensive lineman Jacques McClendon the starter at center Monday for the team's season opener against the Eagles, the Florida Times-Union reports.
"Jacques is going to be our center going into the game," head coach Gus Bradley said. "He took all of the reps, or most of the reps, at one. Luke [Bowanko] got some in there, but we have made that decision."
McClendon started the team's first two preseason games at right guard before shifting to center for the third game. He then played left guard in the preseason finale.
