Roster moves: The Jaguars have announced several roster moves. CB Reggie Corner has been officially put on IR with a torn ACL, and CB Trumaine McBride was signed to take his place. McBride played in one game for the Jaguars in 2011 and has 10 starts in his four-year career. The team also announced on Tuesday that CB T.J. Heath, who appeared in five games for the Jaguars in 2011, has been released.

In other injury-related news, DT Terrance Knighton, TE Zach Miller and G Uche Nwaneri have all been activated from the PUP, according to the team’s official website.

Full pads Tuesday: The Jaguars were in full pads for the first time on Tuesday. It was an especially good feeling for CB Rashean Mathis, who missed the final seven games of 2011 with a torn ACL. 

“It’s been eight months, it definitely feels great to get back out there,” Mathis told the team’s official website. “We reacted well as a team -- that was the main thing. Everybody was moving around good for the first day of full pads.”

Blackmon may be last draft holdout: With the Tennessean reporting that Titans WR Kendall Wright is on the verge of striking a deal, WR Justin Blackmon could soon be the last unsigned draft pick from the 2012 draft. The team is optimistic that he will be in camp soon, but unless a deal is done almost immediately, it appears that he will hold the dubious honor of being the last rookie holdout in the NFL.

Gabbert dealing with pressure: Coach Mike Mularkey said the defense has been getting a lot of pressure on quarterback Blaine Gabbert in practice. It’s been good for Gabbert to practice making decisions under fire, but Mularkey also wants to see the protection improve.

“We told (Gabbert) to not force throws that would create turnovers,” Mularkey told the team’s official website. “I’m a big believer in eliminating the worst possible thing that could happen on a play. A sack is not good, but a turnover is worse. … We have to do a better job of holding the line and our backs have to do a better job of stepping up and stopping the blitzes.”

Turnovers were a problem for Gabbert in 2011. He threw 11 interceptions and had five fumbles.
