The Jaguars  (1-5, 1-1 AFC South) appeared well on their way to their second victory of the season on Sunday. Instead, the Raiders pulled out a 26-23 overtime victory in Oakland. The Jaguars were up 23-13 with 13 minutes left in the game, but they couldn't score again.

The Raiders (2-4, 0-2 AFC West) scored the final 13 points of the game, including a game-winning 40-yard field goal by kicker Sabastian Janikowski in overtime, to pull out the stunning win.

The damage might extend beyond the weekend if the injury news isn't good for QB Blaine Gabbert (shoulder) or RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), both of whom left the game early and did not return. 

Offense: C

Gabbert's injury is even more devastating because it looked like he was putting a good game together before he went down in the second quarter. He had eight completions for 110 yards and a touchdown, including a fantastic 42-yard TD strike to WR Cecil Shorts . It was a different story once backup QB Chad Henne came in the game. The Jaguars failed to move the ball with any consistency, and Henne finished the game completing just 9 of 20 attempts for 71 yards. A fumble by Shorts then set the Raiders up with their game-winning kick in overtime. Previous game's grade: F

Defense: C

The run defense was stingy, only allowing the Raiders to gain 69 yards on 26 carries (2.7 yards per carry). However, Oakland QB Carson Palmer threw for 298 yards and a touchdown. The secondary clearly missed S Dwight Lowery , who was held out with an ankle injury. Though the defense faltered in the end, some credit needs to be given for an interception, four forced fumbles (two recovered) and two sacks. Previous game's grade: D

Special teams: B

K Josh Scobee hit all three of his FG attempts (50, 40, 45) and set the franchise record for made FGs (176), previously held by K Mike Hollis. The kick and punt coverage were both solid and PR Micheal Spurlock had a nice 28-yard punt return. P Bryan Anger had a slight off-day by his standards, averaging 42.1 yards per punt on nine attempts. Previous game's grade: B

Coaching: C-

The Jaguars were shorthanded and they battled on the road, but a loss is still a loss. It's hard to ask any team to go win without its starting QB and RB on the field for much of the game, especially one that came into this week 1-4. Still, the Jaguars were up 10 in the fourth quarter, and couldn't finish this one off. The Jaguars are just a few plays from being 3-3, but that excuse doesn't get very far in the NFL.
