Jaguars vs. Browns Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Jaguars vs. Browns football game
Game Recap
After losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars the last time they met, the Cleveland Browns decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Sunday, Cleveland narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Jacksonville 27-25. The win was familiar territory for the Browns, who now have three in a row.
Cleveland's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 17 points in the first half. Jacksonville wasn't quite able to keep up, and the score was 17-13 heading into the break. Cleveland almost let the game get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it.
RB Nick Chubb continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, rushing for one TD and 144 yards on 19 carries. QB Baker Mayfield had a good game, too, finishing with two touchdowns.
Jacksonville's defeat came about despite a quality game from RB James Robinson, who rushed for one TD and 128 yards on 22 carries.
The victory improved the Browns' record to 8-3. The Jaguars' loss makes it ten in a row and drags their record down to 1-10.
Cleveland will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to Nissan Stadium at 1 p.m. ET next week. They will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Jacksonville, they will face off against the Minnesota Vikings at 1 p.m. ET next week at U.S. Bank Stadium. Minnesota is 2-2 after wins this season, and Jacksonville is 0-9 after losses.
