Jaguars vs. Titans updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Jaguars vs. Titans football game
3rd Quarter Report
The Jaguars fell flat on their face against the 49ers last Sunday, but memory of that harsh defeat doesn't seem to have tripped them up today. The Jaguars have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead the Titans 27-7. The Jaguars' offense has been firing on all cylinders thus far, outscoring their total from last Sunday with time still left to play.
If the Jaguars keep playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 6-3 in no time. On the other hand, the Titans will have to make due with a 3-6 record unless they turn things around (and fast).

The Tennessee Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday at EverBank Stadium. The Titans are hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Tennessee scored first but ultimately less than Tampa Bay in their matchup on Sunday. The matchup between both teams wasn't a total blowout, but with they falling 20-6 on the road it was darn close to turning into one.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Sunday. They took a serious blow against the 49ers, falling 34-3. Jacksonville has struggled against San Francisco recently, as their contest on Sunday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Jaguars had trouble moving the ball and finished the game with only 221 total yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as the 49ers gained 437.
Tennessee has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
In addition to losing their last games, the two teams failed to cover the spread. Looking ahead, the Jaguars are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 6.5 points. Bettors picking the Titans against the spread have some confidence (to put it mildly), as the team is sitting on a four-game streak of failing to cover when playing on the road.
Tennessee came up short against Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 20-16. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
