The Jets have made an offer to S Reggie Nelson (Bengals), according to the Daily News. The Jets need to shore up their secondary after the loss of free agent S Jim Leonhard to his second season-ending injury in two years. A five-year veteran, Nelson was originally drafted by the Jaguars and played for Cincinnati the past two seasons.
