The Jets announced that they have tendered nose tackle Damon Harrison and safety Jaiquawn Jarrett. Both players were restricted free agents.
Harrison is the team's starting nose tackle, while Jarrett is a backup safety.
If a team wants to sign Harrison, and the Jets don't match the offer, the Jets would receive a second-round pick in this year's draft due to his tender.
For Jarrett to be signed by an opposing team, they would have to give up a third-round draft choice.
Both contracts are worth $2.356 million.
