The Jets have announced they have waived seven players: G Terrence Campbell (South Carolina), LS Derek Chard (Connecticut), DT Matt Hardison (Delaware), WR Dexter Jackson (Appalachian State), CB LeQuan Lewis (Arizona State), S Marcus Lott (Coastal Carolina) and WR Raymond Webber (Arkansas-Pine Bluff).
The team's roster now stands at 80.
Jackson was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He has also spent time with the Panthers and the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL.
Chard was originally signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Lewis was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Titans in 2011 and Webber was originally signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2011.
Webber also spent time with the Seahawks. Campbell, Hardison and Lott were signed by the Jets as undrafted free agents in 2012.
