Steelers second-year receiver Justin Brown, who "turned enough heads" to get some first-team reps at OTAs, showed on the first day of training camp "that he wasn't a spring mirage," reports the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
The 6-3, 209-pounder out of Oklahoma "continued to impress with acrobatic and hard-to-make catches," the report said. "At one point, [quarterback Ben] Roethlisberger praised Brown after adjusting a route to make a catch."
With Pittsburgh's receiving corps lacking pedigree behind Antonio Brown and Lance Moore, Justin Brown is squarely in the mix for snaps.
