As expected, QBs Kevin Kolb and John Skelton have been splitting first-team reps thus far in OTAs. That will likely continue early in training camp until one player emerges. Expect that player to be Kolb. While the "competition" assertion certainly isn't a smokescreen from coach Ken Whisenhunt, the Cards invested a lot of money in Kolb, including a $7 million roster bonus they paid this offseason.
