After leading Oklahoma in tackles for four seasons, LB Travis Lewis said he was surprised to fall to the seventh round in the draft. After being passed on repeatedly by other teams, Lewis said his goal is to make the roster and be regarded as the steal of the draft’s later rounds. “I couldn’t wait to work out the morning after the draft,” he said. “[Being taken in the seventh round] fuels me like you wouldn’t believe. Maybe the best thing that’s happened to me is being taken that late in the draft.”
