The Lions have signed two veterans - wideout Greg Salas and cornerback Chris Owens - per the Detroit Free Press. The team later confirmed the report.
Salas last played with the Jets. He compiled his most productive numbers since his rookie year last season, but that only amounted to eight catches for 167 yards.
Owens has played with four different teams over the last four seasons, but did get into 11 games with Kansas City in 2014. He has not recorded an interception since 2010.
