It's a good thing 49ers rookie Mike Davis got a $469,000 signing bonus with the 49ers this year because it looks like he needed some of that money this week.
After a dinner on Monday night, Davis tweeted out a picture of the check, which was for almost $2,000. And judging by the sound of the tweet, it appears Davis got stuck with the bill.

If you add in an 18 percent tip, the total jumps up to over $2,200.
Although this could be considered hazing, it's also possible that Davis decided to take his fellow running backs out to dinner. Since Davis tweeted out the check himself, he clearly doesn't seem to mind the fact that he had to pay for it.
Also, according to 49ers teammate Carlos Hyde, Davis didn't even have to foot the bill for the entire check because another rookie was their to split it with him.

Chipping in on the bill might have actually been a bit more painful for Jarryd Hayne, who only has $108,000 in guaranteed money in his contract. On the other hand, Hayne probably has plenty of Australian dollars saved up from his time as a Rugby star.
There's also the possibility that the duo got a discount on the bill since they were eating at Michael Mina's. Mina is the chef who owns the restaurant inside of Levi's Stadium.
Anyway, if Davis and Hayne did have to pay, a $1,900 dinner is expensive, but it's nowhere near the $55,000 dinner Dez Bryant reportedly had to buy during his rookie year.
