DE Shawne Merriman (Achilles) said he was fully cleared by Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday and he participated fully upon his return to practice on Thursday. "I was hoping for good news and I got it," Merriman said. Merriman has been dealing with a nagging Achilles tendon injury for several years and had surgery last October.
