On Sunday, the Seahawks lost to the Rams at home, Russell Wilson's ridiculous stretch ended, Richard Sherman got burned by Kenny Britt of all receivers, and the Seahawks defense failed to register a sack. It wasn't exactly Seattle's day.
Some members of the Seahawks reacted in a measured, rational way to the shocking 23-17 loss.
Earl Thomas: "It seemed like the ball loved them more than it loved us today. It's football, you've got to respect the game."

Some Seahawks were clearly emotional after a mistake-filled game.
Patrick Lewis had tears in his eyes in locker room. Called his performance "unacceptable"

One Seahawk, however, handled the loss by leveling the Rams with a sick burn.
Michael Bennett on the #Rams: "The Rams, they play good football against us. They just don’t play good football against everybody else."

In a way, Michael Bennett isn't really wrong. Including wins in both matchups this year, the Rams have beaten the Seahawks in three of the last four meetings. But in the past two years, the Rams are 13-18 overall.
By now, considering Jeff Fisher has been coaching since the Houston Oilers were a team, this shouldn't be unexpected. In Fisher's 21 years as a head coach, he's won 169 games. He's lost 155. He hasn't had a winning season since 2008.
Great Rams win, but what is all this talk about Jeff Fisher? Last 3 yrs, he's now: 14-17 (45%) outside the division & 7-10 (41%) inside it.

The Rams pulled off a great win on Sunday. But Bennett's right -- the Rams won't repeat that performance often. That being said, if the Rams manage to take their Week 17 game against the 49ers, they'll end the season with an 8-8 record.
I can't think of anything more fitting for a Fisher-led team.
