Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis is ahead of schedule in his return from a torn anterior cruciate ligament sustained last November, Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey said Friday. The team expects Mathis to play either the nickel or start at corner next season. “We like where Rashean is in his recovery,” Mularkey said.
