Sunday NFL best bets for Wild Card Weekend at DraftKings (odds subject to change):
- Jaguars (+1) vs. Bills (-110)
- Over 44.5 in Eagles vs. 49ers (-112)
- Patriots (-3.5) vs. Chargers (-118)
Jaguars (+1) vs. Bills (-110)
Jacksonville wrapped up the regular season on an eight-game winning streak, with six of those victories coming by double digits. The Jaguars cruised to a 41-7 win over Tennessee in Week 18, as quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 22 of 30 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns. Lawrence has 15 touchdown passes and just one interception in his last six games, setting up a showdown with Bills quarterback Josh Allen. The Jaguars have covered the spread in eight consecutive games, and the model has them covering in 52% of simulations on Sunday afternoon.
Over 44.5 in Eagles vs. 49ers (-112)
San Francisco has been one of the top offensive teams in the NFL this season, ranked seventh in yards per game. The 49ers scored 35-plus points in three straight games before their loss to Seattle in Week 18, powered by quarterback Brock Purdy and running back Christian McCaffrey. Philadelphia has been disappointing offensively, but it is a veteran team that can turn things around in the postseason. The 49ers have gone Over the total in six of their last nine games, and the model is projecting 47 total points to help the Over cash 52% of the time.
Patriots (-3.5) vs. Chargers (-118)
New England narrowly missed out on the top seed in the AFC, but it still went 14-3 and closed the regular season on a three-game winning streak. The Patriots cruised to a 38-10 win over the Dolphins in Week 18, as running back Rhamondre Stevenson scored three touchdowns and had 131 rushing yards. Los Angeles lost its final two games, struggling to generate offense against Houston and Denver. The Patriots are one of the league's best defensive teams, so the model has New England covering the spread 55% of the time.
