Each Sunday we'll recap the week that was in the NFL with the top tweets from across Twitter.
Robert Griffin III lived up to expectations starting with his first snap. He had himself a day in his NFL debut.
RG3 definitely earned himself some admirers including film legend Spike Lee.
Even Peyton Manning's former coach took notice.
RG3 also made sure to make his sponsor, Adidas, happy.
RG3's fellow highly touted rookie Andrew Luck didn't fair as well on Sunday and Twitter let him have it. Former Washington Capital Alex Semin jumped on the RG3 > Luck bandwagon.
But don't give up hope for Andrew Luck just yet. His first start was pretty similar to Peyton Manning's debut, and we all know how that turned out for Indy.
Luck wasn't the only rookie QB to struggle on Sunday. Poor Brandon Weeden couldn't do anything against the Eagles defense.
Of course some quarterbacks did play well. After a hideous interception, Mark Sanchez had one of his best games of his career. Maybe Tebow should look to play elsewhere?
The other big story of the day was how would the replacement referees fair? Some games they were OK.
Other games...not so much.
The replacement referees prompted this hilarious exchange of bickering between NFL PR guru Greg Aiello and Fox Rules Analyst Mike Pereira.
Quicks hits: Randy Moss is back and scoring TDs.
David Akers booted an NFL record-tying 63-yard field goal. He looks surprised at his success.
Minnesota's hero Blair Walsh inspiring fantasy football team names since only today.
How nice of Roddy White. He wants to please everyone.
Finally, Terrell Suggs lets his former teammate Willis McGahee have it.
