The 49ers signed two rookies -- linebacker Aaron Lynch and defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey -- to four-year contracts on Tuesday, the team announced.
Lynch could end up being a hybrid player, lining up at both linebacker and defensive end on passing downs. Ramsey's role will be more defined as a player on the line of scrimmage.
