G Rob Sims says that the veterans have welcomed first-round draft pick Riley Reiff with open arms, despite the OL competition that Reiff’s arrival will create during training camp. “You’ve got some (OL veterans) that are going to struggle with (drafting Reiff) because, let’s be honest, a guy like that comes in, somebody’s got to look for a job eventually,” Sims said. “But we’re all about getting better. (Detroit’s veterans) welcomed me with open arms when I came here, and it fit, and we’re going to do the same with him.”
