The Packers released tight end and special teams player Brandon Bostick on Monday, about a month after his mistake on an onside kick allowed the Seahawks to come back and win the NFC Championship Game.
With the Packers leading 19-14 just before the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks lined up for an onside kick. Bostick left his blocking assignment and attempted to recover the ball. The ball bounced off his hands, and the Seahawks recovered. The recovery led to a go-ahead score, and Seattle would eventually punch a ticket to the Super Bowl in overtime.
