As expected, Carolina Panthers linebackers Jon Beason and Thomas Davis will miss their second straight preseason game Friday night against Miami. Both are returning from season-ending injuries, and Beason was bothered by a hamstring injury early in camp.
RB Tauren Greene (concussion), CB Brandon Hogan (knee), WR David Gettis (knee) will also miss their second straight game.
TE Nelson Rosario (concussion), who dressed but didn't play in the preseason opener, is inactive.
CB Nate Ness, who left the Houston game with a concussion, is inactive for Friday's game, as are G Roger Allen and DE Eric Norwood.
WR Rico Wallace and G Mike Pollak will dress after being inactive for the first preseason game.
