TE Bear Pascoe discovered friend and teammate TE Jake Ballard (ACL) had been claimed off waivers by the Patriots on Tuesday. “I was kind of surprised to hear it,” Pascoe said, adding, “It’s part of the business.” But since Ballard wasn’t likely to play in 2012 anyway, Pascoe still thinks the Giants TEs can be effective. “Coach (Mike) Pope is doing a really good job of working all of us in there together,” he said.
