Stevan Ridley, who looks to be the team's lead running back, and S Tavon Wilson, a second-round pick in the mix in sub packages, did not finish practice Thursday because of injuries.
Ridley suffered an apparent right hamstring injury and couldn't return. Wilson tried taping up his left ankle but couldn't return. He finished practice with ice on his ankle.
Also, Bill Belichick kicked WR Julian Edelman and LB Niko Koutouvides out of practice after a post-play skirmish.
Belichick had told the players, after three fights in two days, that the next fighters would be kicked out. He followed through. Belichick may have been miffed that the fight occured as the team was working on overtime situations. A personal-foul penalty in OT could cost a team a game.
