The Seattle Seahawks came out of Week 11 having defeated the Philadelphia Eagles. They pushed their record on the season to 7-2-1 and continue to sit behind only the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC standings.
During the win, though, the Seahawks suffered several injuries. They lost running back C.J. Prosise, who had broken out over the last few weeks as an explosive offensive player, to a fractured scapula. He is out for "a while," according to coach Pete Carroll, and may not return this season.
The Seahawks also saw two of their starters in the secondary suffer hamstring injuries: Earl Thomas and DeShawn Shead.

Both players left the game and did not return. When told hamstring strains such as these typically take 10-14 days to heal, Carroll asserted that Thomas and Shead were not like other players.

It's likely we won't get word on either Thomas or Shead's status for the Seahawks' Week 12 game against the Buccaneers until later in the week. If they can't play, Jeremy Lane, Steven Terrell, and Neiko Thorpe will likely step into larger roles.
