The Raiders signed fullback/running back Jamize Olawale off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad to their 53-man roster Tuesday.
Olawale filled the roster spot that opened last week when the Raiders placed linebacker Rolando McClain on the reserve/suspended by club list.
The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Olawale is an undrafted rookie from North Texas. He initially signed with Dallas on May 14 and was in the Cowboys' training camp before being waived, then signed to the practice squad on Sept. 2.
A native of San Francisco, Olawale played at Long Beach Poly H.S. then El Camino Jr. College in Southern California before transferring to North Texas.
Olawale is the second player the Raiders have signed this year off another team's practice squad. They signed defensive back Brandian Ross off the Packers' practice squad on Sept. 19.
