The Raiders will face Dallas in their Monday night exhibition opener at the Oakland Coliseum without starting defensive tackle Richard Seymour and starting wide receiver Denarius Moore, as well as backup running backs Taiwan Jones and Mike Goodson.
Seymour has been slowed throughout much of camp with a knee injury. He returned to practice Saturday but has been limited. Desmond Bryant is expected to start in his place.
Moore and Jones are recovering from lingering hamstring injuries, and Goodson is out with a neck injury he suffered during practice on Tuesday. Jacoby Ford is expected to start in Moore’s spot.
First-team tight end Brandon Myers (shoulder) is also out, and starting outside linebacker Aaron Curry is definitely out. When he reported to camp, Curry was placed on PUP with knee injuries. He has been undergoing treatments from a specialist in Los Angeles.
Rookie Miles Burris will start in Curry’s spot on the weak side. Richard Gordon is expected to start for Myers.
Wide receiver Eddie McGee (hamstring), punter Shane Lechler (knee) and offensive tackle Zach Hurd (head) are also likely out. Rookie Marquette King will handle the punting duties.
Rookie linebacker Mario Kurn and former Giants wide receiver Duke Calhoun suffered season-ending knee injuries during practice on Thursday.
