Former Lions Lomas Brown and Alex Karras are among the group of players suing the NFL over residual health issues from concussions they sustained during their careers. While he respects former players' rights to seek damages, current Lions C Dominic Raiola says the experience of playing in the NFL is worth the injury risk. “It’s common knowledge that people are going to suffer (brain injuries),” he said. “It’s totally worth it. This is the best job in the world, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I don’t know if I could justify suing the league when I’m done.”
