The Rams are down to 75 players after Monday's roster cuts. They'll trim all the way to 53 on Friday -- the day after the final preseason game against Baltimore.

One of the biggest decisions facing the Rams' brass is whether to keep two or three quarterbacks. If the team keeps three, that means one fewer offensive or defensive lineman or defensive back.

Here's our latest projection of the final roster:

Stock rising: RB Daryl Richardson. The seventh-round pick out of Abilene Christian is pushing second-round pick Isaiah Pead for the No. 2 job behind Steven Jackson. Richardson’s decisive running style is endearing him to coaches. The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder led the team with 51 yards on 10 carries in Saturday’s game against Dallas, adding a nine-yard catch.

Stock falling: CB Janoris Jenkins. The rookie out of North Alabama isn’t in danger of losing his starting job -- yet. But he can’t afford another performance like Saturday. Kevin Ogletree got behind him for a 25-yard catch, and Jenkins missed two tackles, including one that sprung Dwayne Harris for a 38-yard TD reception.

QB -- In: (3) Sam Bradford, Kellen Clemens, Austin Davis. Out: Tom Brandstater. Analysis: Davis keeps impressing in preseason games, making it likely the team will keep three QBs. The undrafted rookie out of Southern Miss hit 4 of 5 throws for 53 yards against the Cowboys. Clemens also played well and is likely to retain the No. 2 job.

RB -- In: (5) Steven Jackson, Isaiah Pead, Daryl Richardson, Ovie Mughelli (FB) Brit Miller (FB). Out: Chase Reynolds, Ben Guidugli (FB). Analysis: Mughelli and Miller have both played well, so now it appears the Rams will keep two fullbacks. When he's not in at fullback, Miller contributes on special teams.

WR -- In: (6) Danny Amendola, Steve Smith, Brian Quick, Chris Givens, Greg Salas, Brandon Gibson. Out: Nick Johnson, Mike Campbell. Analysis: With Monday’s waiver of Danario Alexander, this position group looks set. Johnson and Campbell are competing for practice squad spots.

TE -- In: (4) Lance Kendricks, Matthew Mulligan, Michael Hoomanawanui, Mike McNeill. Out: Cory Harkey, Deangelo Peterson. Analysis: Mulligan, a local product, still has to fend off Harkey and Peterson for the fourth spot.

OL -- In (8) Rodger Saffold, Quinn Ojinnaka, Scott Wells, Harvey Dahl, Barry Richardson, Wayne Hunter, Rokevious Watkins, Robert Turner. Out: Bryan Mattison, Jose Valdez, T-Bob Hebert, Tim Barnes, Joe Long. Analysis: With the swap of Jason Smith for Wayne Hunter, Richardson has a firm grasp on the right tackle spot. Turner is Wells’ backup at center. Watkins could eventually replace Ojinnaka in the starting five. If the Rams keep nine OLs, Mattison has the best shot.

DL -- In (8): Chris Long, Kendall Langford, Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn, William Hayes, Eugene Sims, Jermell Cudjo, Matthew Conrath. Out: Cornell Banks, Jamaar Jarrett, Scott Smith. Analysis: DT Trevor Laws was placed on IR with a patellar tendon injury, leaving only longshots.

LB -- In (7): James Laurinaitis, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Mario Haggan, Rocky McIntosh, Josh Hull, Justin Cole, Aaron Brown. Out: Sammy Brown. Analysis: Sammy Brown still has an outside shot at unseating Aaron Brown and Cole.

DB -- In (9): Cortland Finnegan, Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, Bradley Fletcher, Jerome Murphy, Quintin Mikell, Darian Stewart, Craig Dahl, Rodney McLeod. Out: Kendric Burney, Matthew Daniels, Quinton Pointer. Analysis: Stewart (hamstring) is unlikely to play in the preseason finale, making it more likely that Dahl opens the season as the starter at free safety.

Special teams -- In (3): Greg Zuerlein, Johnny Hekker, Jake McQuaide. Analysis: The specialists are set after kicker Garrett Lindholm and LS Travis Tripucka were cut. Zuerlein is 4 for 4 on field goals in preseason, including three from 50-plus yards.
