OLB Chavis Williams briefly spent time on Baltimore's 53-man roster in 2011 after beginning the year on the practice squad.
He'd had a good preseason but didn't do enough to guarantee a spot. Like a lot of players this preseason, his time ran out for a coveted 53-man roster spot, although he has practice-squad eligibility.
Notable cuts: The biggest surprise cut Baltimore made this preseason was releasing K Billy Cundiff (10th year, undrafted, Drake) last Sunday. The roster has been fairly set with just a handful of players left to fill a few spots.
