It’s a good problem to have, but it’s one the Redskins haven’t faced in a long time. Their schedule will be tougher in 2013 because of their first-place finish. While that only impacts two games -- the other 14 were pre-determined -- it does mean it’ll be a little bit harder.
Thanks to their first-place finish, they’ll play San Francisco at home and Atlanta on the road. The 49ers will be the only 2012 playoff team they’ll face at home. And four of the teams coming to FedEx Field will have new coaches -- Philadelphia, Chicago, Kansas City and San Diego. Meanwhile, the road will be difficult as they face four playoff teams -- Green Bay, Minnesota, Denver and the Falcons.
The Denver game will be interesting. It represents Mike Shanahan’s first game back since he was fired after the 2008 season following 14 years in charge.
Redskins 2013 schedule
