Redskins tight end Jordan Reed was limited at Thursday's practice due to a tweaked quadriceps, Chris Russell of 106.7 The Fan DC reports.
During the 2013 season, Reed missed one game as a rookie due to a quad contusion, which was the first of his 12 combined absences the past two years. As a result, his availability in Week 2 is suddenly in question in advance of Sunday's contest against the Rams. If Reed is held out, Gruden would likely turn to a timeshare at tight end between Derek Carrier and Anthony McCoy.
