Bills rookie E.J. Manuel was already sidelined for the remainder of the preseason with a knee injury heading into Saturday's matchup with the Redskins. But the quarterback situation got worse when Kevin Kolb, in a battle with Manuel for the starting job, left the game with concussion-like symptoms. That leaves undrafted rookie free agent Jeff Tuel as the only quarterback on the roster, although that could change in the coming days.

Neither Matt Leinart, a former first-round pick of the Cardinals, or John Beck, once a Dolphins second-rounder, are attractive long-term options. But they could offer some short-term relief while Manuel and Kolb get healthy.
In the meantime, Tuel's the guy. And with the regular season two weeks away, there's a chance he'll be under center when the Bills host the Patriots on Sept. 8.
