DE Luis Castillo will be released before a $1 million signing bonus becomes due next month, according to the San Diego-Union Tribune. Castillo, who is owed 3.9 million in salary in 2012, missed 15 games last season after he broke a tibia in Week 1 against the Vikings. TheChargers may re-sign Castillo for a lower deal after he tests free agency.
