Chargers guard Jeromey Clary is set to begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, U-T San Diego reports.
Clary will not count toward the team's initial 53-man roster, but he won't be able to return until the team's seventh game. He is still working his way back from offseason hip surgery.
