Offensive tackle Eric Winston, who has played for the Texans, Chiefs and Cardinals, and most recently served as the NFL Players Association president, signed a one-year deal Tuesday with the Seahawks, per multiple reports.
Winston confirmed the news via Twitter.
Season finally starts for me today! Looking forward to chasing a ring with the Seahawks!! Time go to work!

Originally the Texans' third-round pick in 2006, Winston has started 16 games a season every season since 2007. He didn't have a great 2013 season in Arizona (he ranked 69th out of 76 offensive tackles, according to Pro Football Focus), but fared much better in '12 (26th overall) and '11 (8th).
In Seattle, Winston will battle Michael Bowie and Justin Britt for the job vacated by Breno Giacomini, who signed with the Jets in the offseason.
