The Texans will re-sign veteran linebacker Akeem Dent to a two-year contract, according to a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Dent started seven games a year ago for the Texans in his first season with Houston. He was originally selected in the third round of the 2011 draft by the Falcons. The Falcons traded Dent to the Texans for backup quarterback T.J. Yates in 2014.
In his four-year career, Dent has totaled 174 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
