Dolphins defensive lineman Vaughn Martin has been released from IR after seven weeks, a source has told NFL.com.
Martin played just two games and managed one tackle before going on IR with what was an undisclosed injury, though he did undergo hernia surgery in September. He might prove to be an option along the line for Miami after having played extensively with San Diego in 2011 and 2012.
