Coach Rex Ryan said that according to the training staff, S LaRon Landry is "way ahead" of where they thought he would be. Landry suffered an Achilles injury with the Redskins during 2011. He chose not to take part in the Jets OTAs, which are voluntary. He returned for the mandatory minicamp.
