Seahawks vs. Jets Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Seahawks vs. Jets football game
Game Recap
The Seattle Seahawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Sunday. They were fully in charge, breezing past the New York Jets 40-3 at home. This was a must-win game for the Seahawks as they bounced back from a huge upset against the New York Giants last week.
Seattle started the matchup off right with 23 first-half points. New York countered with 3 points. Seattle put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Seattle's success was spearheaded by the efforts of QB Russell Wilson, who passed for four TDs and 206 yards on 27 attempts, and RB Chris Carson, who punched in one rushing touchdown.
The victory improved Seattle's record to 9-4. The Jets' defeat pushed them down to 0-13.
The Seahawks will take on the Washington Football Team at 1 p.m. ET next Sunday at FedEx Field. Like Seattle, Washington is also coming into the contest bolstered by a recent win. New York will hit the road for the second straight week as they head to SoFi Stadium at 4:05 p.m. ET next Sunday. The Los Angeles Rams' offense will need to be on point to get points against New York's defense, which is averaging only 18.92 points allowed per game.
