RB Mikel Leshoure has participated in most of Detroit’s offseason program while he rehabs a surgically repaired Achilles tendon. G Rob Sims says he’s impressed with Leshoure’s progress “(Leshoure) looks like he did last year before the injury,” he said. But Sims said his blocking must improve for Detroit’s run game to succeed. “I’m going to have to be a better run and screen blocker,” Sims said. “If I’m a better screen blocker, the offense gets better.”
