Now, with the Seahawks set to play the NFC's top-seeded Falcons and the Redskins headed home, some Washington players have accused Seattle's defense of cheap shots during the game.
"(Seahawks defensive end) Red Bryant tried to step on (Alfred Morris) after a play and hit him in the head," Redskins fullback Darrel Young said Monday, according to USA Today. "Alfred Morris is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. ... When Alfred comes to the sideline cursing, you've got a problem because this is a kid who doesn't curse."
Not surprisingly, it was Sherman, the NFL equivalent of Dennis Rodman, who really bothered the Skins. After the game, Sherman said Williams approached him and said "I'll swing on you."
Sherman's response: "He threw his full jab. I'll keep walking, smiling.'' (The .gif above doesn't quite tell that story.)
Before it got to that point, however, Young said Sherman was jawing at the Redskins sidelines and at coach Mike Shanahan in particular.
"(Sherman) was taunting Mike Shanahan on the sideline, telling Mike, 'You can't throw over here.' "I wanted to go over and punch him (Sherman) myself," Young said.
"Yeah, that (post-game smash) was uncharacteristic of Trent," Young continued. "But you get enough of something, you want to put a stop to it. I hope we got Seattle on our schedule next year.''
Unfortunately for Young, the Skins and Seahawks won't meet in 2013 unless it's in the postseason.

Some Skins players think Seahawks D was taking cheap shots
It's not hard to imagine Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman mixing it up with, well, just about anybody. He tracked down Tom Brady after Seattle beat New England early in the season, and he literally got his face handed to him courtesy of Redskins tackle Trent Williams Sunday night.
