Undrafted rookie QB Austin Davis, who broke most of Brett Favre’s passing records at Southern Mississippi, parlayed his strong preseason into a spot on the Rams' roster.
Davis was 21 of 30 for 207 yards and an interception. The Rams' comfort with Davis led to veteran Kellen Clemens being cut. Clemens' release was among 22 player moves announced Friday.
The 53-man roster includes 26 defensive players, 24 offensive players and three specialists. The eight-man practice squad likely will be composed mostly of players who were cut.
