Jonathan Dwyer was the only surprising cut by the Steelers on Saturday. Here is the list of the others: punter Brian Moorman, running back Alvester Alexander, defensive linemen Alameda Ta'amu and Brian Arnfelt, linebackers Alan Baxter, Terence Garvin, Marshall McFadden and Brian Rolle, wide receivers Justin Brown, Reggie Dunn and Kashif Moore, offensive linemen Mike Golic, Christopher Hubbard, Joe Long and Joe Madsen, tight ends Jamie McCoy and Nathan Overbay, and defensive backs Devin Smith, Terry Hawthorne, Ross Ventrone and Josh Victorian.
Among the notables was Rolle, who is the brother of more accomplished NFL players Antrel and Samari, and Golic, whose namesake father starred with the Eagles and is now an ESPN sports talk show host.
