Former first-round pick Rolando McClain has found trouble with the law again, according to a police report out of Decatur, Alabama.
The Decatur Daily reports that McClain, who was the eighth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, has been arrested and charged with firearm and marijuana charges.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a window tint violation on Chestnut Street near the Alabama 31 and Alabama 36 junction, Hartselle police spokesman Lt. Justin Barley said.
As the officer approached the vehicle, he smelled the aroma of marijuana coming from the vehicle and conducted a search, Barley said.
McClain, 27, was found with marijuana and was also carrying a firearm without a permit, he said.
The traffic stop in question occurred around 1 p.m. on Friday.
Once upon a time McClain, who played at Decatur High and then at Alabama for the Crimson Tide, was a can't-miss prospect selected by the Raiders who would be an immediate impact linebacker. Instead, McClain was a bust who got released by the Raiders just three years after being drafted. He was signed by the Ravens just a week later, but almost immediately was arrested. He then abruptly walked away from football, retiring to get his life together off the field.
McClain was out of football for a year before returning with the Cowboys, who acquired McClain in a trade from Baltimore, and he looked pretty good for parts of 2014. He would look decent as well in 2015 after serving a four-game suspension to start the season. Before the 2016 season, McClain was hit with a 10-game suspension that he never saw the end of, because he failed another drug test just before it was about to end and received a second 10-game suspension.
Jerry Jones has attempted to stay positive about McClain's future with the Cowboys in the past, but McClain was suspended indefinitely by the NFL in December 2016.
This newest incident is just the latest sad turn in a career full of disappointing and unfulfilling promise.
