TE Todd Heap missed six games with a torn hamstring and was limited in more last year after signing a two-year free agent deal following his release by Baltimore. The Cards are deep at TE with Rob Housler a promising pass-catcher, veteran Jeff King supplying all-around ability and Jim Dray a solid blocker. But Heap, 32, said he's an every-down player. "You're always trying to prove yourself," he said.
