TE Martin Rucker was placed on IR on Wednesday as he faces surgery on his injured right knee later this week. Rucker suffered the injury (torn ACL) during an OTA session June 1. Rucker was trying to carve a roster spot with his hometown team. He was born and raised in St. Joseph, Mo., 40 miles from Arrowhead Stadium and home for the team’s summer training camp.
