The Texans' injury report for Week 14 featured a lengthy list of injured defenders, but all but one player from that side of the ball was able to take the field Thursday against the Jaguars. While defensive back Jawanza Starling (foot) was inactive prior to kickoff, 11 other injured players were able to play through their issues.
Defensive lineman Antonio Smith (not injury related), linebackers Joe Mays (knee), Mike Mohamed (hamstring), Darryl Sharpton (knee), Whitney Mercilus (hip) and Jeff Tarpinian (groin), and defensive backs Brice McCain (hamstring), Johnathan Joseph (groin), Kareem Jackson (ribs), D.J. Swearinger (foot) and Shiloh Keo (neck) are all in uniform Thursday.
