Bill O'Brien has announced that Texans left guard Jeff Adams, who started both games this season, is to be placed on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury, per the team website.
"I feel for the guy," O'Brien said. "The guy really put a lot of effort into this season. He was here all offseason, really improved as a player and those things happen. Those injuries happen.”
Adams was carted off the field during the second quarter of the Sunday game against Carolina and did not return.
